I'm great with titles, aren't I? =D *shot*

This is a collaboration picture, actually. A couple of nights ago, ~lizsama and I decided to try and kill our respective Art Blocks by drawing in OpenCanvas together. Two pictures came out of it, actually. The first one we did was a Darkie/Sally picture, which you can see here!

This was the one we did afterwards. <3

Liz drew Metal and I drew Amy Rose. And then, afterwards, we decided we'd each ink and colour one of them. She did the Darkie/Sally one, obviously, and I did this one.

And OMG, my hand hated me during the inking process. @o;;

This is -completely- digital. All the sketches were done in OpenCanvas 1.1. Then I brought it over to OpenCanvas 3 and inked and coloured it there.

..... I luff OpenCanvas and totally want to have it's babies. (3 :heart:

Anyways! XD With inking included I'd say I put about... oh... eight hours of work into this picture. @o; But it's because of the -detail-. And also because I was originally going to make Amy's newly designed outfit purple and black and then realized it looked -horrible- on her. @o; So I had to mess around with it until it looked good.
Darkie likes blood red better anyways. <.< XD

I didn't give it a background because, quite frankly, I've put enough work into this already. @_@ And.. y'know.. I'd started the figures first and if I put the BG in all I'd be doing is messing up the light source and what colour it should be and.. ARG. Yeah. So you get generic crappy gradient background! =D <3

So yeah.. done in OC3 with a Wacom over a total of about eight hours.

OH! And yes, Amy's eyes are supposed to look like that~ >=3 <3<3<3

You can certaintly see the difference in styles,but they really fit together! Brilliant coloring as well.

... wow, considering this is an ASADAE we're talking about here, this is amazingly sweet ( both in cool and touching ) and cute. I'd hate to be the one kicked by those shoes she's wearin' tho'.

You and Ms. Liz do fantastic work. Absolutely fantastic.

I'm so glad you can see that! @_@

I was actually worried I'd slaughter Liz's lovely pencil work when I inked it. I wanted to try and preserve as much of her style as possible, you know? I'm so glad that you can see the difference still! =3

Well, Metal and Amy can actually -be- very sweet. Metal is feircely loyal and Amy does adore him, even if she looks at him as a big puppy. <.<

And yeah, her boots are made that way on purpose~ >=3 XD
