Well... this didn't turn out nearly as nice as I hoped it would. ;;
Except the view out the window. -THAT- came out good. I like that. ;;
As many of you know, I have a Shadow Muse that happens to be a vampire. Many of you have seen pictures of him. But see, the thing is...
I have -two- Shadow Muses.
I don't know if many of you remember him, but this is Kokueimai. That's his nickname, at least, and what he tends to go by most, now. The name means 'Shadow Dancer' and it's his rave name.
Yes. Kokueimai is a hardcore raver. =3
He's also an accomplished writer and poet with a terribly romantic and soft heart. He's softspoken, fun loving, cheerful and highly intelligent. If a little prone to brooding, low self-esteem and melancholy.
And the reason why he's so different from the 'real' Shadow while still being Shadow can be fully explained with his background.
I just having finished writing the ficlet out yet. >.>;;;
But! Koku inspires many things in me, usually of the cheerful sort, and he's a very important part of my little life. Much of my poetry and writing come from him and he's a bit of a homebody Muse. My vampire and my demigod both wander, but Koku never really strays far from home. He's rather like my companion muse.
And I've neglected him, artwise, far too much.
So! Here he is. Sitting in my living room window, gazing out at the sunset, with his writing journal (he goes through at least one a week) and obviously contemplating things.
He's been contemplating things a lot, lately. I'm afraid his life has been turned one its ear and he's trying to adjust to some serious loss.
This was, in part, to help cheer him up.
And yes, I think of my Muses as separate parts of myself. I never claim to be anything but insane. =3
